Although I've never received any formal art training of any kind. Painting and drawing has always come very naturally to me, and it has always been easy to see where my talents lay. I have found that I am better able to express myself with a paintbrush than in any other way imaginable.
I enjoy painting portraits of pets and people. Successfully capturing personality and character with watercolor or any other medium is very rewarding. Painting a loved one is a very special keepsake for that person recieving the artwork. More than just another picture to hang on the wall, but something to treasure and pass on for generations. Being able to share that with as many people as possible is my ultimate goal.
